The Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) was founded in 1971 as part of an integration of Higher Technical Schools. As part of a clear vision, UPM has the goals of instilling creativity, development, transmission, criticism of science, technology and culture to build a learning experience that challenges and inspires. UPM also works with Institutes and Research Centre’s to recognise and address the changes taking place in wider society.
